2 Professional Services: Therapy or Coaching

Although there are many differences and similarities between coaching and therapy, both approaches facilitate change and growth by addressing developmental issues and focus on awareness.  We can further discuss to see what fits your needs. 

Choose the one that is right for you.

Therapy: Therapist Jane

You are experiencing anxiety and/or depression and don't know what the cause is.  If you know what the cause is, you are hesitant or scared to have to deal with it.  You've managed it in your own way for some time, but now it is showing up in a way in your life that is impacting your life, relationships and work. You may have trouble sleeping or eating or even getting up in the morning.  You may have become really sensitive and/or find yourself hopeless or angry. You may have turned to addictions to cope with your behavior. You don't have to suffer alone.  There is a way to heal and move on and start experiencing life more lighter and brighter.

Coaching:

You are wanting to go to the next level in some area of your life or life in general.  You see that it must be possible because others seem to be experiencing it.  But you can't seem to figure out how to get to the next level for yourself.  You think it shouldn't be so difficult and yet you are experiencing yourself stuck for longer than you would like to admit.  You want to Level Up but don't know what the steps are to get there.  You need someone who knows how to guide you, connects with you, and believes in you to get to the next level up. This is your opportunity to invest in yourself and get that promotion in your life that you deserve.  

 

INVEST IN YOURSELF!

Some differences:  

 

Therapy- A process where the therapist helps to uncover past traumas that are at the root of unhealthy beliefs, behaviors, feelings & relational issues.  By healing from the traumas, you are free to live into a new future because the trauma is no longer obstructing the way. The focus is to change faulty belief systems, improve relationships and work through painful feelings so that you can create a happier, healthier future.

Coaching -A process where the coach works with you to clarify goals, identify obstacles & unhealthy behaviors in personal and/or professional areas of your life.  Specific action plans are set to meet desired goals in the future.  By learning about the specific patterns of behavior that you repeat (Enneagram Type), and changing the strategies that don't work for you, you will be able to make the necessary shifts in your life to have a more peaceful, happier and fulfilling life experience.
